This cord is hand made form the Dogbane plant found in the wetlands of Moab. We harvest the plant in the fall when it dries, break down the stalks and separate the fibers from the cellulose and soften them to spin with our bare hands. We follow the same process the Navajos before us used thousands of years ago. Dogbane cordage can be found in Native American dwellings and mounds dating back hundreds to a thousand years ago.
Sold singularly or in 4 cord bundles, each piece measures approximately 24" long
