Richolite is a serpentine mineral from a rock formation near Silver City, New Mexico. Stone from this formation was used for the first known masonry arch in the Americas, which was built by the Zuni Tribe. This area is also a Zuni cultural site as well as a bighorn sheep breeding ground. The drastically contrasted stone is hand-shaped and polished in our store in Moab, UT.
